Transfers and fare capping do not work with cash fares on board buses
Transfers will be included in tickets paid
How Fare Capping Works
With WisGo, instead of buying passes, you’ll pay for each ride until you reach the cap for the day, week, or month. After reaching the cap, all additional rides and transfers are free for the rest of that period.
Daily Cap
Once you’ve spent $4, your rides for the rest of the day are free.
Weekly Cap
Once you reach $16 between Monday and Sunday, the rest of your rides that week are free
Monthly Cap
Once you’ve spent $64 in a calendar month, your rides for the rest of the month are free

Fare capping ensures that you’ll never pay more than necessary and eliminates the need for large upfront payments for passes. It makes transit affordable and accessible for everyone
How to Use WisGo ?
You can start using WisGo with one of the following options
Umo App
Pay directly with your smartphone by downloading the app (Available on Apple App Store and Google Play)
WisGo Card
Purchase a physical card at a participating location or RYDE Racine Office and load funds.
Reduced WisGo Card:
For seniors, Medicare, and ADA passengers, the Reduced WisGo card provides discounted fares and caps.
WisGo Powered by UMO
Download the Umo App:
Board quickly with WisGo in the Umo app. No more purchasing daily, weekly, or monthly passes. With a WisGo account, riders can load money onto the Umo app, which will be immediately available.

Timeline for WisGo
October 21, 2024: New fare structure and fare capping take effect. Umo App will be available for use.
Coming Soon: WisGo Cards available at participating locations.
May 15, 2025: Deadline for transitioning from existing fare media to WisGo. Passengers using traditional fare media will have until May 2025 to use any remaining balances.
